Sound Healing Vibrations with Relaxation Music and the NexNeuro Relaxation Lounge for Stress

Sound Healing Vibrations with Relaxation Music and the NexNeuro Relaxation Lounge for Stress Relief and Stress Management!

Anxiety and stress is a major problem for individuals suffering from substance abuse and dependency.  Most if not all alcoholics and addicts live much of their life in fear.  Fear is the basic emotion that the individual is experiencing when reference is made to anxiety and the emotional and physical disorder of stress.

There are many ways to help reduce anxiety and stress. While there are inappropriate ways that people use to manage stress, there are many effective ways that individuals can utilize to reduce if not eliminate stress. For example, avoiding stressors, expressing feelings instead of holding them inside, managing time better, learning how to reframe problems and focusing on the positive aspects of life, to mention only a few.

There are many benefits of reducing and effectively managing stress. When individuals in recovery are able to learn how to reduce stress their ability to make better decisions increases. Being able to make better decisions will allow addicts and alcoholics to do work with their sponsor, benefit from counseling and as a result stay in recovery longer thereby reducing the possibilities of relapsing.

Music or sound therapy is very under utilized in the field of counseling and psychotherapy and especially for being used to help individuals to reduce anxiety and stress in clinical settings. Most therapists and counselors do not know of the beneficial effects of relaxation music in individual and group counseling sessions let alone within the structure of treatment programs.

I am currently using relaxation music at an outpatient counseling program in Fort Lauderdale called Our Solutions to help clients reduce and manage their anxiety and stress. The therapeutic relaxation music used in our program is one component of a stress reduction and management program designed to help addicts and alcoholics manage fear, anxiety and stress upon demand and as a result be able to effectively and efficiently relax. This type of stress management program is initially conducted with a client utilizing vibroacoustic therapy.

Vibroacoustic therapy is a particular type of sound therapy that incorporates music and healing vibrations with the express purpose of helping the individual relax deeply and as a result reduce his or her anxiety and stress. Vibroacoustic therapy translates and emits synchronized audio programming into kinesthetic vibrations that are directed at the entire body while therapeutic music is delivered through headphones.

The schedule of this special programming is to administer a full vibroacoustic therapy session once a week and additional programming sessions the other six days a week via the Internet at their place of residence. The initial session is conducted on a specially designed relaxation lounge. The relaxation lounge’s design allows the individual to rest comfortably while receiving the powerful sound healing vibrational treatment.

In addition to the experience of the relaxation lounge the individual is also taught effective breathing techniques, how to incorporate relaxing language or words and powerful neuro linguistic anchoring techniques. The individual is taught to link all four components of the programming to their relaxation experience so that when the individual begins to experience anxiety or stress they will be able to use one or several of the components of the stress management program to reduce if not eliminate their stress.

This stress management program utilizes classical conditioning techniques that allow the client to have freedom from the detrimental consequences of anxiety and stress. This program teaches the client how to reduce if not eliminate anxiety and stress once they are aware of it presence. As with any other behavioral technique the success of the program for the client rests with repetition of its simple but effective techniques.

The relaxation lounge is excellent for drug and alcohol treatment program, holistically oriented healing program, spas and anyone that wants to learn how to effectively and efficiently relax and reduce anxiety and stress.

Vibroacoustic Therapy for Stress Relief and Self Esteem

In my personal experience as a counselor, I am constantly reminded the importance of continued self-care to avoid burnout.  It is essential that I find new ways to achieve a state of relaxation if I am to perform effectively, not only as a counselor, but in all areas of my life.  My ability to relax falls in line with my ability to give every moment the attention it deserves, especially when I am working with another individual.  The serenity lounge keeps me centered.  The vibro-acoustic technology is vitalizing to say the least.  The lounge has provided me with a set of relaxation skills that I am able to take with me and utilize at my own discretion.  I have been a satisfied customer of the lounge for 5 years and each experience has only proven to be more beneficial than the first.    Andrew

When I use the serenity lounge, I’ve noticed that no matter what I’m going through in my life, it calms me down and brings me to a state of peace. Its almost like I’m entering into a different dimension, almost as if I were dreaming but still awake. Bottom line is that the serenity lounge is amazing. Im personally proned to anxiety, and am constantly stressing myself out over the little things in life. The serenity lounge is the one thing that can always calm the storm in my mind. I highly recommend it to anyone who has similar struggles like myself.    Catherine.

Music has been used for many centuries to promote a sense of health, wellness and wellbeing. Music has been proven to be a very powerful alternative therapy for changing thinking, feelings, ones emotional state, behavior and even an individual’s life. Music has the capacity to help a person experience deep relaxation and serenity, reduce the experience and effects of stress, promote a peaceful, restful sleep and even begin to generate physical healing.

The Vibroacustic Therapy is a non-medical sound and vibration system that provides audio and tactile stimulation to the mind and body. This therapy delivers “natural frequencies” in a passive and non-invasive process to the brain and central nervous system with the specific intent of balancing, optimizing and harmonizing these cells in our body and brain through entrainment.

Research is proving that frequency therapy can be an effective & safe way to help relieve symptoms of stress, anxiety and the effects of health problems such as addiction, depression, as well as many other mental and psychological disorders.  The more relaxed the body and mind are the more effective a person will be at resolving and repairing problems.

The relaxation music used in the vibroacoustic therapy has been uniquely designed by Dr. Harry Hensahw to ensure that a person will experience a state of deep relaxation and ease. The music has two compoents to assist an individual in experiencing deep relaxation, in obtaining stress relief.  The first component of the music is that it is harmonically slow, repetitious, rhythmically random in its tempo to ensure a deep state of relaxation.

The second component of the music is that it uses binaural audio tones or binaural beats that are interwoven into the very structure of the music. The binaural beats or tones, through a process referred to as “entrainment” or “frequency following”, gently guides or directs the mind/body to generate more of the targeted frequency of brain wave activity to create a profound state of relaxation.  The relaxation music of Dr. Henshaw is used in both the stress reduction and self esteem programs of the Vibroacoustic Therapy. The Vibroacoustic Therapy will help to reduce anxiety and stress and also improve confidence and self esteem.

The Vibroacoustic Therapy is currently being used to treat addicts and alcoholics at OUR SOLUTIONS, an outpatient counseling program in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where Dr. Henshaw is the Program Director.

My Personal Inner Transformation of Relaxation Music and Positive Affirmations

When you listen to a certain recording repeatedly, especially relaxation music that was designed to relax you, you will become relaxed every time you listen to it.  The more you practice relaxation or meditation with a particular recording the stronger the relaxation response.  As you begin to listen to that recording again and again you become relaxed almost instantly.  As you have mastered this process, of relaxing while listening to a particular recording, when you add positive affirmations the creation of positive language in your mind has an advantage.  Every morning I listen to 60 minutes of relaxing music mixed with positive affirmations, my affirmations in my voice.  This recording is Inner Transformation.

Relaxation Music to Relax and Use with Positive Affirmations

The ideal way to use positive affirmations to transform your life is to use them in your own voice. Prior to using positive affirmations in your voice is the practice of relaxation. As we know, learning to relax effectively allows for the possibility of the positive affirmations to change or transform your thinking process. I have found that when a person learns to relax using relaxation music that the possibility of using positive affirmations effectively increases. This is especially true if the same music is used, that is, the same relaxation music for learning to relax and help with the installation of the positive affirmations.

A New Beginning in Self Transformation

To transform my life I know that I have to alter the thoughts that I have.  This is where it all begins and eventually ends.  I have recently become present to the negativity that runs through me, run through my thoughts.  I sometimes wonder why my Dream has not been realized and now I believe that it is because I stop it from becoming a reality by the very thinking that I engage in on a daily basis.  I have simply not applied what I believe and know to be a reality about our condition.

What I am doing now to alter my path is to create a new beginning, a beginning of monitoring my thoughts and constantly work at giving up the negative thoughts and especially the words that I say and only, express positive things about others and myself.  When I feel the urge to express something negative I am working at not expressing it, noticing it and then express something positive either about the other person that I was becoming negative towards or myself.

Believing In Yourself and Your Dream

My Dream is about working with my music to help transform the world.  I want to create relaxing music to help people be healthy and reduce stress.  I also want to create positive affirmation and hypnosis recordings to help people transform how they think and feel about themselves.  I believe that I have the ability to achieve and live my Dream.  Usually the success with respect to my Dream is not about my ability per se but about my confidence, about believing in myself, about knowing that I can do it.  Especially when I am not receiving the rewards of the Dream, I have a tendency to doubt my ability, that maybe I am not capable of living the Dream.  It is at these times that I have to reaffirm my commitment to the Dream and my faith in myself, faith that my Dream will become my Life if I only stay the course.

I have faith that my Dream will become a reality, that I can create it fully, that I can make a living from my own creations, that I can help others to transform, to feel more relaxed and be healthy.  I believe that I can do, I know that I can do it and it is staying in this space that is vital to the Dream becoming a reality.  Staying in the space to create the Dream is about me affirming everyday that I can do it.  Believing in myself, believing in my ability is what will make the Dream become my life.  Keeping the faith is daily work, something that starts when I wake up in the morning, something that I have to continue to create for myself all during the day.

Staying With Your Dream – Being Willing and Open Minded

Staying with your dream is not always an easy thing to do.  There are times when I want to stop, simply give up my Dream.  It is at those times that I find the commitment to continue, to stay with my dream, even though it is not showing up the way that I want or think that it should.  Simply stated, it is about not giving up on the Dream itself regardless of what is going on or happening with the outcome.

Part of what keeps me committed to my Dream is the willingness to try new things, to stay open to new possibilities as to what to do to keep the Dream alive.  Specifically, I stay open to the possibility that I need help and that others may be able to help me create my Dream.  Having a willingness and an open mindedness to new information and knowledge is so important if not absolutely vital.  It is the being open to new ideas and thoughts and willing to consider using them that helps to keep the Dream alive.

I have to constantly give up that I know everything about my Dream and that I am right with respect to how the Dream should be.  When I give up being right and knowing everything I am able to walk into the space of being willing and open minded.
